Stoke Park is one of six of Guildford’s parks now ranked among the country’s best green spaces following the announcement today that they have each won Green Flag Awards.

  

Green Flag Awards recognise the best parks in the country. Guildford’s winning parks impressed the judges with their excellent use of green space, well-maintained facilities and a high standard of safety and security.

  

There is a flag raising event at the Castle Grounds today at noon. The flag raising will be attended by Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Marsha Moseley and the Friends of Stoke Park among others.
